Workshop on Fun with Robots
at Chanakya International School, Jalandhar
A lively and educational "Fun with Robotics" session was organized by the Innovation Hub, PGSC at Chanakya International School, Jalandhar. Under the expert guidance of a mentor, students were introduced to the fascinating world of robotics. Total 36 students actively participated in this workshop. The event encompassed a series of engaging activities designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of robotics.
The session covered a variety of activities, starting with an overview of the different sensors commonly used in robotics. Students also gained insights into various parts of a robot. They also got an opportunity to assemble their own sensor –guided robots using Lego kits. This practical experience enables them to understand the complexities of building a robot and the importance of each component. Besides, students were also given an overview of coding techniques related to robotics, offering them a glimpse into the programming aspect of this exciting field. In the final segment of the session, students applied their newfound knowledge by creating their own sensor-guided robots. This not only showcased their creativity but also provided a real-world application of the concepts they had learned. It was a successful initiative that sparked interest and curiosity among the participants, fostering a deeper appreciation in the field of robotics. The practical session helped students honing their teamwork and problem-solving skills.
