Pushpa Gujral Science City observed National Energy Conservation Day on December 14, 2024, with an event aimed at raising awareness about energy conservation and underscoring the crucial role of individuals, industries, and governments in promoting sustainable energy practices.
As part of the celebration, a “Science Play Competition” was organized under the theme “Powering Sustainability: Every Watt Counts”. The competition witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 125 students from schools in Jalandhar and Kapurthala, who creatively showcased their understanding of sustainable energy solutions through innovative performances. The winners of the competition were awarded for their outstanding performances.
Addressing the participants, “Dr. Munish Soin, Scientist D”, highlighted the significance of renewable energy and encouraged the adoption of practices that contribute to a sustainable energy future.
