The International Day of Women and Girls in Science, observed annually on February 11th, celebrates the vital contributions of women and girls to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This day also recognizes the importance of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in scientific endeavors worldwide. A panel exhibition on “Indian Women in Science - The Pioneers” who treaded the Unconventional Path was set up at PGSC on this occasion. Visitors discovered the inspiring stories of accomplished Indian women in STEM who fearlessly pursued their passions, leaving a lasting impact on the field and motivating women to follow in their footsteps.
