Green Consumer Day
PGSC organized Green Consumer Day on 28th September 2024. On this occasion, a Project/model/idea display competition on the theme ‘Zero Waste Challenge’ was organized.
The objective of organizing the competition was to encourage students to adopt Zero waste practices in daily lives and to raise awareness about the importance of reducing waste, reusing, and recycling.
Approximately 112 students from various schools of Jalandhar and Kapurthala districts participated in the event. The event was a success & contributed to fostering scientific thinking and ideas for managing all types of waste. Winners are awarded with Prizes/Trophies.
The names of the winners are as follows:
- First Prize : Sain Dass AS Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar
- Second Prize : SPPS, Begowal
- Third Prize : SGTB Public School, Bhogpur
- Consolation Prize : Lord Krishna International School, Sultanpur Lodhi
